The Memphis Tigers 2023-2024 basketball season is officially over. Their aspirations of a third-straight NCAA tournament berth ended during the opening round of the AAC tournament against Wichita State. The season is over, and it opens the door for players to announce that they will consider entering the transfer portal. On Sunday night, On3’s Joe Tipton reported that Memphis forward Jonathan Pierre has decided to enter the transfer portal. After coming from Nova Southeastern, Pierre only spent one season with the Tigers. The 6’9 forward from Florida averaged 1.8 points per game during this time with the program.

The 6-9 Florida native played sparingly for the Tigers this season. Averaged 14 PPG (40% 3P) two seasons ago at D2 Nova Southeastern. https://t.co/rzZr73gGuq pic.twitter.com/ure6eKf34E
